Hop on your bike for the 2nd Annual KBC Bike & Brew Tour to benefit the Kennett Food Cupboard!
Beginning Saturday June 2nd at 10:30am we’re gonna saddle up and depart from KBC on a *50-mile tour of some of Chester County’s (and a wee bit of Delaware) most beautiful country roadways. We’re not just gonna ride though, we have 4 scheduled stops along the way to keep our hydration and energy brimming!
From KBC we’re gonna head into the Small Wonder for a few miles and have an early drink at the iconic Buckley’s Tavern. From there it’s all downhill to Dub-C to make our way over to Levante Brewing Company. Departing from there we’re gonna make our way a bit further west to end up at Four Dogs Tavern. Heading now a little southwest to our final stop on the tour, the famous Whip Tavern. We’ll just have a few more hills to conquer before ending up back at our homebase KBC, for what Jossy promises will be a “GIANT SPREAD!”
COVER the KBC BAR Challenge
Along with your registration we’re asking each rider to bring non-perishable donations for the “Cover the KBC Bar” challenge. We’re hoping to get enough goods this day so that the entire copper top bar is covered with all our generosity!
This is a FUNdraising fundo. This is not a race. We’ll have a great time, some good brews and bites along the way, and a GIANT celebration at the end! Your registration gets you a cool KBC pint glass, some special offerings from a couple of our stops along the way, and a free beer and food at KBC at the finish.
If this sounds like a cool Saturday to you, I suggest registering now, cause we’re only taking 75 riders on this tour!
A 50-mile bike ride should not be taken lightly. Although every able body is encouraged to partake, if you are not conditioned to ride up to 40-miles non-stop, this event is probably not for you. Please consider your personal fitness and ability to complete this event prior to registering. Oh, and there’s hills too.
